10 Km Challenge
General Information Sheet
- Wanaka 10 Km running race March 29th 2014
- Race start time: 10 am (10 Km up Cardrona Valley road)
- Base running fitness needed: 2 Km comfortable jogging
- Three training sessions per week
- Monday circuit class 7-8 pm Albany Street Studio
- Thursday Pilates class 7-8 pm Albany Street Studio
- Saturday training run 8-9 am (meeting location will change weekly)
- Payment to be made prior to 20th January, in full or by weekly/fortnightly automatic payment
- Must be able to commit to training sessions as specified
- Discounted massage from Back In Motion Albany street
- Discounted podiatry consultation from Roslyn podiatry
- Discounts at Athletes foot (Meridian) and Stirling Sports (Meridian)
- No ACC surcharge for injuries sustained during the challenge at Back In Motion Albany street
- Week starting 20th Jan 2 Km run time trial (during circuit class time), weight and girth measurements taken. Same tests repeated half way through challenge and during final week of training (week of 29th March).
